Supervision of youngsters:

Minimum age is 12 years (may vary on special offers).  Under 18s must be accompanied by the parent or guardian (adult does not have to fish).  Maximum party size is reduced to 2 when all participants are under 18.

Cancellation and refunds:

If you wish to cancel a lesson with 7 days or more notice you have the choice of receiving a gift voucher for the equivalent value valid for one year, or a full  refund.

If you wish to cancel a lesson with less than 7 days notice no refund will be possible.

If you wish to reschedule a lesson with 7 days or more notice there is no charge.

If you wish to reschedule a lesson with less than 7 days notice a charge of £25 per booking will be made.

In the unlikely event I need to cancel (for example, due to extreme weather), and we can’t agree a date to reschedule the lesson and a gift voucher is not acceptable then I will refund you.

Gift vouchers:

Can be transferred to another person but you must contact Martin Penton Fly Fishing to provide details.

Travel issues:

If you have trouble travelling to the location and are going to be late you must contact the coach by phone call or text.  The coach will wait one hour onsite after the lesson start time and if no call or text are received, he will cancel the lesson and you will not be refunded.

Permits and licenses to fish:

The fishing permit is included in the price but you are responsible for having a valid rod licence, it is against the law to fish without one.  See FAQ for details of how to attain one.
