In addition to the coarse fishery, Chequertree has a 1.5 acre trout lake open from September to June (exact dates vary) which provides a tranquil and relaxing spot to cast a fly.  Depths of 20' make it a fantastic water for the rainbows to thrive.  May fly, daddies and gold heads all work well.

Onsite is a well equipped, fully licensed Clubhouse offering cooked breakfasts, meals and many other goodies during the warmer months.  Toilet and tea/coffee making facilities are available year round.
