ABOUT MARTIN PENTON

 

I am based in Tunbridge Wells and have been fishing since I was 11 years old.  Course and sea fishing originally, however in recent years I have almost exclusively fly fished for trout on the still waters of the South East. 

 

I am a certified Casting Instructor with Fly Fishers International and a fully licensed Level 2 game fishing coach with the Angling Trust which includes full insurance, an Enhanced DBS check for working with under 18s and First Aid training.    

 

While my coaching style is light hearted and fun, your safety is paramount throughout the lesson.  You will learn all the basic fly fishing skills you needs to land your first fish and hopefully experience the thrill I still get when a fish takes the fly.​
